This segment covers every registered .chat domain that resolves to an address (registry zone file), parked and dormant ones included. Each domain is resolved in DNS and counted once, for the network (ASN) announcing its IP address, grouped by company; a site behind a CDN such as Cloudflare counts for the CDN, not for the origin server behind it.
56,998 known domains, 43,577 of which resolved to an address with a known network. Snapshot of October 2026, refreshed with every data update; one snapshot is kept per month to follow the trend.
